NOT YOUR GRANDFATHERS CIGAR HUMIDOR

This is not your grandfathers cigar box. Cigar humidor I airbrushed for my nephew. My love of art and fine cigars has led me to paint this cigar humidor as a gift to my nephew. Keep an eye out for my custom painted cigar humidors, I will be painting more on a limited basis.

On a recent airline flight, Leonardo Da Vinci's drawings of flying machines entered my mind. As I looked out the airplane's window down at the layers of clouds his sketches fueled my imagination. The materials of the wings, the tiny rivets, the moveable flaps, the feeling of soaring through the sky, I experience the fruition of his dreams. 

I share in Da Vinci's passion of mechanics by exploring the workings of time machines or more specifically operating devices that track time.The mechanism of a wristwatch, the hands, springs, gears clicking forward, all working together to form a symphony of time in motion. 

My next painting is inspired by these instruments which chronicle moments. I'd like to thank The CGA Company -Dealer of High Quality Watches for sponsoring the production of this painting. What exactly will I paint? Only time will tell…
